Food Technology Program of Study
Cooking and Nutrition is a vital skill everyone should understand and be able to do.
I have created an exciting range of lessons aimed at Key Stage 2 & Key Stage 3 students. Also looking at expanding to Key Stage 4 GCSE students if enough interest is shown.
Currently I am offering 2 days a month for Key Stage 2 & 3 so check out the calendar.
The lessons will have a short demonstration then straight into practical activities.
The skills we will be focusing on will be nutrition, cooking, baking, knife skills, weights, measuring, life skills and food hygiene.
The courses will run for 3 hours and all equipment and ingredients will be provided.
All students will have an opportunity to look around Lincolnshire Cookery School to familiarise themselves and meet Fiona Lucas. This will help settle them in ready for a busy fun filled activity day where we will produce some fantastic food for all the family to take home.
