Learn venison butchery from experts within the Lincolnshire area. They will demonstrate the skills involved in butchering a deer from the whole gutted carcass into the main joints and cuts. During this full day course you will be able to get hands on experience skinning, cutting, jointing, deboning etc. Learn the tips and tricks of an experienced butcher. Although we will be focusing on venison butchery all the skills you learn on the day are transferable and the course will give you the confidence to tackle many butchery tasks at home. Whether you are a keen cook, a chef, a deer stalker or just looking to learn a new skill come and join us for ‘A deer in a day’ venison butchery.

Everyone will butcher a whole deer so you will defiantly need to make space in your freezer. At the end of the day you will have a chance to make some venison sausages and discussions on curing and preserving meat.

The course starts promptly at 10am and finishes at 4pm.
